
Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan overthrown by a vote of no confidence

Pakistan’s National Assembly passed a vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday after weeks of political crisis.
The motion was “approved” by 174 of the 342 deputies in the National Assembly, announced the acting president of the chamber, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
As a reminder, Imran Khan is the first Pakistani head of government to be overthrown by a vote of no confidence.
