More than 15,000 Israeli tourists in Morocco to celebrate Passover

Eyal David, Israel’s Deputy Chief of Mission in Morocco, announced on his Twitter account that more than 15,000 Israeli tourists have traveled to Morocco to enjoy their holidays with their families.
The Jewish holiday of Passover or Passover is one of the most important holidays in the Jewish religion, it commemorates the exodus from Egypt, the birth of Israel as a people and more generally it is the feast of freedom and the end of the enslavement of man by man.
On this occasion, “more than 15,000 Israeli tourists came to enjoy their holidays this year with their families in beautiful Morocco”underlined Eyal David. “We look forward to more people coming next summer”he advanced.
The tweet from Israel’s deputy head of mission in Morocco includes the announcement of the appointment of a Moroccan tourist attaché who recently joined the Moroccan liaison office in Tel Aviv. “To strengthen our relations in this area between our two countries, we had the pleasure of meeting the first Moroccan tourist attaché, who will soon be moving to Tel Aviv”he specified.
David previously said that several activities are scheduled to take place in May and June to strengthen relations between Morocco and Israel in the areas of business, culture and the environment.
In this sense, the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) predicts the arrival of 200,000 Israeli tourists in 2022 following the restoration of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
As a reminder, the airline Royal Air Maroc inaugurated on March 13 the first direct flight linking Casablanca to Tel Aviv, pending the scheduling of four weekly flights on its new Casablanca-Tel Aviv line.
