Masters live golf scores, results, highlights from Friday’s Round 2 leaderboard

Round 1 of the Masters Tournament provided plenty of fascinating storylines for golf fans to follow on Round 2.
The first of those is Tiger Woods, who despite playing his first competitive round since his February 2021 car crash shot a 1-under 71 par on Thursday, placing him tied for 10th among the field. Woods had some uncharacteristic mistakes on several par-5 holes on Thursday, and will look to gain several strokes back from lessons learned.

That said, there has been no clear separation from the leaders after Thursday’s Round 1; indeed, Tiger is just four strokes off Sungjae Im, who leads the field at 5-under 67 heading into his second round. Cameron Smith (4-under 68) is in sole command of second place, while several golfers come in at 3-under and 2-under par.
The question now is how golfers will react to the playing surface at Augusta National after a day of play; the greens are notoriously fast and will only get more so as the competition progresses.
