Zelensky: kyiv is always ready to negotiate with Moscow

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Saturday expressed his country’s readiness to continue holding talks with Russia.
During a press conference with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer, who was visiting Kyiv and Boutcha near the Ukrainian capital, Zelensky said that “Ukraine has always said that it is ready to negotiate and will seek any possibility of ending the conflict. At the same time, we unfortunately see preparations for major, some say decisive, battles in the East”.
And to add: “We are ready to fight and to seek at the same time diplomatic ways to stop this conflict. We are still considering a dialogue”.
It should be noted that the last session of direct Russian-Ukrainian talks was held on March 29 in Istanbul, during which Ukraine detailed its main proposals for an agreement with Moscow, including its “neutrality”, in exchange of an international agreement to guarantee its security.
