When is Game 4 for Warriors vs Grizzlies? Date, odds, predictions for pivotal matchup in 2022 NBA Playoffs
The Golden State Warriors made a statement in their Game 3 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.
After stealing homecourt advantage away from the upstart Grizz with their Game 1 win, the Warriors came back to San Francisco for a pivotal Game 3.
Whoever came out on top in Game 3 would have a clear advantage in the series, with Game 4 also set to be played at the Chase Center before going back to Memphis for Games 5 and 7, if required.
After a slow start, the Dubs started clicking on all cylinders, and Klay Thompson found his shooting touch once again after struggling in the first two games – he was a combined 11-of-38 from the field over those games.
Against the Grizzlies in Game 3, though, Thompson finished with 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting in 35 minutes and pulled down eight boards for good measure in the Dubs 142-112 win.
The Grizz for their part, have proved that they can bounce back from defeat a few times this post-season already, most recently claiming a gritty win in Game 2 following their Game 1 heartbreaking loss.
Their All-Star guard Ja Morant was phenomenal again in Game 3. He had 34 points on 13-of-21 shooting, including a few highlight plays, but limped off midway through the final quarter.
There is a doubt as to whether Morant will be able to play Game 4 after sustaining what appeared to be a right knee injury late in Game 3.

Opening odds for Warriors vs. Grizzlies Game 4
Odds are not yet available for Game 4 in part due to the uncertain injury status for Ja Morant. Golden State closed as a seven-point favorite in Game 3 and according to Fanduel, is now listed at -650 to win the series.
Predictions, expert picks for Warriors vs. Grizzlies Game 4
Micah Adams: Warriors 115, Grizzlies 109
Nick Metallinos: Warriors 122, Grizzlies 100
Adams: I expect the Warriors to once again come out focused on the their home floor. While they might not shoot over 60% again, the Warriors did clean up the turnovers in the second half of Game 3 which allowed them to pull away. Morant’s injury notwithstanding, the Grizzlies should be concerned about giving up 142 points on the road in a game where Curry only made two shots from beyond the arc. My pick is assuming that Morant is available. If he’s not, then I don’t see much of a world in which the Grizzlies keep it close given how this series has played out so far.
Metallinos: For me the biggest issue – as to be expected – is the health of Morant. They’ve proven they can win without him (they were 20-5 in the regular- season without him), but if he doesn’t play in Game 4 and the Warriors blow them out again, I expect this series to be over once they get back to Memphis for Game 5. If I’m being completely honest, even if Morant plays Game 5, I think the Dubs have momentum on their side now, and playing at home will get them over the line regardless.
