Woods, 46, hasn’t participated in a full Tour-level tournament since finishing tied for 38th place in the pandemic-delayed 2020 Masters. He won the 2019 iteration of the competition, edging past Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka and Xander Schauffele to claim his fifth green jacket and 15th major title.
Woods showed little signs of injury amid the blooming azaleas and lush greenery of Augusta National, hoping to pair his famous Sunday red with Masters green one more time.
