The WAC, the RCA and Casa Events go on the hunt for counterfeit ticket sellers
It’s a real witch hunt. Wydad of Casablanca, Raja of Casablanca and Casa Events warn against false sellers or resellers of tickets during a meeting held between the leaders of the parties concerned.
For decades, the sale of football tickets, especially during major matches, has always taken place under very difficult conditions.
Black market, illegal price increases, shortage of certain categories of tickets, etc. Everything is there. This scourge plagues sporting activity in Morocco and gives Moroccan football a hard time, which finds itself up against the wall in the face of an illegal business that is hindering its own.
In this sense, the Casa Event company has published a report threatening heavy penalties for anyone who tries to falsify tickets to enter the Mohammed V sports complex in Casablanca, after some fraudulent electronic tickets were sold during recent matches.
In its press release, Casa Events confirmed that it had held a meeting with representatives of the administrations of the Wydad de Casablanca, Raja de Casablanca and administrative and security authorities on Wednesday, during which it was agreed to the strict application of the legal procedures in force against anyone caught using or marketing counterfeit tickets.
The recent matches of the Reds and Greens at the Mohammed V sports complex in Casablanca have witnessed major violations linked to the falsification of certain electronic tickets, which has left Casa Events in the embarrassment, the company having been the subject of criticism concerning its laxity at the organizational level.
