The defenceman, currently plying his trade with the University of Michigan, was recently named to the All-Big Ten First Team. He’s also won gold with Canada at the 2021 world championship and made the Olympic team for the Beijing Olympics this past February.
Power also represented the Canadian world junior squad in the eventually cancelled and rescheduled 2022 tournament, becoming the first Canadian defenceman to register a hat trick in a world juniors game.
In 33 games with the Wolverines this season, Power has recorded three goals and 29 assists.
