
Police tape off Mytholmroyd park after serious Bank Holiday sex attack
Police sealed off a park in Calderdale as officers investigated a reported sexual attack.
West Yorkshire Police said the incident had been reported to have happened in a park in Mytholmroyd, near Hebden Bridge. A police spokesman said it happened on Easter Monday evening.
The spokesman added: “Police are investigating following a report of an alleged serious sexual offence in Mytholmroyd.

“The incident is reported to have happened in a park off Midgley Road in the evening of Monday 18 April. The victim is being supported by specially trained officers while enquiries remain ongoing.”

The age and gender of the alleged victim have not been disclosed by police.
