Maple Leafs replace Campbell with Kallgren after Lightning take 5-0 lead in Game 4

Few things in sports can match the highs and lows of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Two days after Jack Campbell robbed Steven Stamkos with a save-of-the-year candidate to preserve a Maple Leafs win in Game 3, Toronto pulled Campbell trailing 5-0 to the Tampa Bay Lightning less than halfway through Game 4.
The critical blow was dealt by Corey Perry, who scored on a five-on-three power play to extend Tampa’s lead. The Maple Leafs left Campbell in to finish the penalty kill but Erik Källgren came in for his NHL Playoffs debut at the next commercial break.
Cameras caught Campbell and head coach Sheldon Keefe in a long conversation following the change but if the goalie was pleading to stay in, he didn’t win the argument.
Campbell finished the game with 11 saves on 16 shots after posting a .924 save percentage in the first three games. Källgren becomes the 25th goalie to make an appearance in these playoffs already, after only 22 were used by teams during the entire post-season last year.
