LIVE: Storm’s unusual step after controversial hit
It’s not often you see clubs electing to challenge a match review committee decision that hasn’t resulted in a suspension, but that’s exactly what the Storm are doing.
“The club has decided to contest Felise Kaufusi’s charge from the weekend,” a Storm statement read.
“A not guilty plea has been lodged with the NRL. It will now be heard by the judiciary.”
Even if they challenge the ruling and lose, it will still only be a $2500 fine rather than an $1800 one.
