Lisbon: Moroccan Craftsmanship continues its conquest of international markets

The Maison de l’Artisan is taking part in the 23rd edition of the Lisbon International Fair (FIA LISBOA 2022), scheduled from June 25 to July 3, with the presence of 17 Moroccan master craftsmen who have come to highlight the richness and diversity of the heritage Moroccan craftsmanship.
The increase in exports of Crafts is today one of the major priorities of the Ministry of Tourism, Crafts and Social and Solidarity Economy. This ambition begins with the improvement of the product intended for export, across the entire value chain, including its international promotion.
As part of promotional actions, participation in international exhibitions and fairs is a lever on which the ministry capitalizes.
This fair, underlines the Department of Crafts, constitutes a reference event in terms of crafts, intended for a wide audience with an influx exceeding 50,000 visitors, ie a considerable exhibition potential.
From June 25 to July 03, 2022, 17 Moroccan craftsmen, guarantors of ancestral know-how, will highlight the richness and diversity of our artisanal heritage. The participation of Morocco, among 40 foreign countries, will also help to establish the notoriety of our craftsmanship in the Portuguese market, and to shed light on the exceptional identity of the Kingdom.
On the sidelines of this participation, several meetings will be organized by the Maison de l’Artisan, with economic operators aimed at exploring the prospects for cooperation and partnerships for the development of the marketing of handicraft products on the Portuguese market.
