The title race is expected to go right to the wire, and Pep Guardiola will be well aware that any dropped points could be fatal to his side’s chances of defending the trophy.
The meeting between these two was a rout earlier this season, when City put seven past a hapless Leeds. While the visitors would love a repeat of that scoreline today, both for their confidence and their goal difference, Leeds are a different proposition of late.
Marsch’s side are not yet clear of the relegation scrap, but they’re ending the season in better form, and they’re unbeaten in five after their scoreless draw against Crystal Palace last time out.
Man City may have the second leg of their Champions League semi-final in the back of their minds, but they can’t afford any complacency coming into this game. The slightest slip-up could be the difference between success and failure in their tussle with Liverpool for the Premier League crown.
