Justice: Morocco and Qatar determined to promote their cooperation
Means of promoting cooperation in the field of justice between Morocco and Qatar were at the center of a meeting, Monday in Rabat, between the Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Ouahbi and his Qatari counterpart, Masoud Bin Mohamed Al Ameri , currently visiting Morocco.
This meeting was an opportunity for the two parties to express their desire to move forward in the promotion of bilateral legal and judicial cooperation, said Abdellatif Ouahbi, at the end of this meeting which took place in the presence of Qatar’s Ambassador to Morocco, Abdullah Bin Thamer Mohammed Al Thani.
Relations between Morocco and Qatar are firmly rooted and this meeting will be an opportunity to further strengthen them, particularly in terms of judicial cooperation, underlined Abdellatif Ouahbi, expressing the wish to raise bilateral relations to the level of the aspirations of the leaders of both countries.
For his part, Masoud Bin Mohamed Al Ameri stressed “the importance of deepening relations in the field of justice with the Kingdom of Morocco”, praising Morocco’s efforts in the service of security and stability and in the fight against terrorism and organized crime.
The two parties also agreed on the need to establish a conventional framework in order to boost bilateral cooperation, in the service of the reforms of the judicial systems of the two countries.
