How to watch Premier League Darts 2024: Live stream, TV channel, schedule for Luke Littler’s debut season
One of the biggest darts events of the year kicks off as the PDC Premier League Darts begins at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena. Seven-time champion Michael van Gerwen is clearly the man to beat over the next 17 weeks, with this year’s lineup arguably being of the highest quality ever.
Spread across the UK, Ireland, Germany and the Netherlands, the 2024 Premier League sees eight of the biggest and best names in the sport line up at the oche for a shot at glory, with a debut for young prodigy Luke Littler alongside world number one Luke Humphries.
There’s a handsome million-pound purse on offer for the eight players, seven of which will be gunning to dismount Van Gerwen and win their maiden Premier League Darts title at the London O2 Arena in May.
Premier League Darts 2024 player lineup
There’s little doubt that the 2024 tournament’s two main attractions this year are World Darts Championship winner Luke Humphries and teenage sensation Luke Littler.
World number one Humphries has won five PDC Premier events in the past 12 months, while Littler’s run to the WDC final and victory in the Bahrain Masters sees him qualify barely a week after his 17th birthday.
Elsewhere, 2019 runner-up Rob Cross returns after failing to qualify last year, with he and the two recent World Darts Championship finalists replacing the trio of Jonny Clayton, Chris Dobey and Dimitri Van den Bergh from the 2023 lineup.
2024 Premier League Darts qualifiers
- Luke Humphries (current world number one)
- Michael van Gerwen (2013, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2023 winner)
- Michael Smith
- Nathan Aspinall

Who won Premier League Darts last year?
Michael van Gerwen comes into this tournament as the only prior winner of the Premier League Darts amongst his seven competitors, having won the last two titles in a row in 2022 and 2023 — his sixth and seventh victories respectively!
MVG defeated Welshman Gerwyn Price 11-5 at the O2 to claim the 2023 final, having been pushed all the way by Joe Cullen the year prior, eventually winning his first title since 2019 by the slender scoreline of 11-10.
Cullen is absent from this year’s line-up, but Price will certainly be in the running to claim a first title, as will world number one Luke Humphries and 17-year-old Luke Littler.
