Four Moroccan productions are in official competition at the Malmö Arab Film Festival (MAAF), in Sweden, the 12th edition of which will be held from May 4 to 9.

The president and founder of MAFF, Mouhamad Keblawi, said he was “proud” of the diversity of the program for this edition, which takes place face-to-face this year, after two editions held online, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. , reports the press release.
“Malmö returns to be an annual meeting point, where Arab filmmakers will meet their counterparts from Sweden and the Nordic countries, forming a unique window for cooperation between the two sides,” he said.
The MAAF has selected the film “The Daughters of Abdulrahman” by Jordanian director Zaid Abu Hamdan as the opening film of the 12th edition of the festival.
