Formula 1 takes its talents to South Beach on Sunday.
Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz brought the heat to Miami on Saturday, with Ferrari coming in like a hurricane and taking the front-row lockout for the inaugural Miami Grand Prix in qualifying.
Ferrari’s rebirth after a few years of down contention isn’t overly surprising — what is slightly surprising is who’s in second place in the constructor’s race. While Red Bull sits in second, Mercedes is still dealing with some inconsistencies on track and is still searching for answers to get back into the title fight.
Things seem to be a little bit of a correction: George Russell was knocked out in Q2 on Saturday, but Lewis Hamilton pushed through to start in sixth.

Hamilton, though, is still searching for his first win of the 2022 F1 season. While the year is still young, this is the longest wait the seven-time champion has gone for his first win since 2016.
It’s been gray skies overhead for Hamilton in the early going, but what better place to his first win than the “Sunshine State?”
