
Coronavirus/Morocco: 6 regions have fewer than 19 cases

Morocco has recorded 80 new cases carrying the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total of cases recorded nationally since the start of the epidemic to 1,163,806.
Currently, the total of active cases rises to 752, among them, 27 cases are in serious condition. Over the past 24 hours, the number of fully vaccinated people (having received 2 doses) has reached 23,267,455 while the people who have received the 1st dose of the vaccine is estimated at 24,792,924 according to the Ministry of Health. And for the 3rd dose, it is 6,174,177 new doses injected.
As for the geographical distribution of new cases recorded in Morocco in the past 24 hours, it is the region of Grand Casablanca-Settat which comes first among the most affected regions, accounting for 35 new infections, of which 33 are recorded in the city of Casablanca, notes the MoroccoLatestNews monitoring and follow-up platform, www.moroccolatestnews.com.
Second region in the ranking, the region of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra which lists a total of 19 cases, including 14 in Rabat, Marrakech-Safi with 10 positive cases all located in the city of Marrakech, 5 infections in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima including 2 in Tangier-Assilah, and the same report for the Souss-Massa region where all the cases were recorded in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane.
Finally, the Fez-Meknes region recorded 3 cases carrying the virus, including 2 in Fez, the same assessment for the Oriental region which showed 1 case in Oujda-Angad, 1 in Nador and 1 in Berkane.
