Bill Gates tested positive for Covid-19
Billionaire and Microsoft founder Bill Gates has tested positive for Covid-19. Announcing his contamination, Gates said he had “mild symptoms”.
“I tested positive for COVID. I am experiencing mild symptoms and am following expert advice isolating myself until I am healthy again,” he said on Twitter.

He was also happy to be “fully vaccinated and to have access to tests and excellent medical care”.

Last January, it will be recalled, Gates’ global health charity, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, pledged $150 million to the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) to fund the response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The foundation’s commitment adds to the hundreds of millions committed to the global response to the pandemic, including support for vaccine makers and developers of diagnostics and treatments.
Bill Gates has, in this sense, promised that the Foundation, which met for the first time in two years, will continue to work with the partners and will do everything possible to no longer have to face a new pandemic.
We will continue working with partners and do all we can to ensure none of us have to deal with a pandemic again.
