Al Akhawayn University and Alstom Cabliance join forces
Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (AUI) and Alstom Cabliance, a French rail transport specialist, have signed a partnership strategy relating in particular to training through alternating immersion in the company.
This agreement is based on the strengthening of collaboration and the transfer of know-how and skills between AUI and Alstom, focusing on the creation of shared and sustainable added value.
The axes of this cooperation include, among others, an innovative “cooperative” program (Co-op) of alternating training between teaching at the University and working in a company, through which Alstom welcomes students from Al Akhawayn to a multi-year alternation between studies and work.
It also involves setting up specialized training, provided by AUI professors to Alstom executives, research projects supervised by professors from the AUI Business School and Alstom managers and holding events scientific and/or technical interests of common interest
This partnership is part of Al Akhawayn University’s roadmap, in order to play a pioneering role in the Africa & Middle East region to reinvent university education. The 21st century, full of challenges for Generation Z, is witnessing an unprecedented acceleration of business change.
This strategy is not limited to employee formulas, it also involves an entrepreneurial component materialized by the creation of two incubators. They will be managed by students and supervised by Top Managers from nationally and internationally recognized companies.
“Aware of the pressing and changing new needs of the 21st century business, as well as the imperative of productivity and well-being of Generation-Z graduates, Al Akhawayn University has initiated an innovative strategy, aimed at to inspire the student, to offer him a transformative experience and to a double-potentiating impact for the company and for the young people of Generation-Z. This action is materialized by the creation of Co-Op programs with alternating immersion in the company »emphasizes Dr. Amine Bensaïd, President of Al Akhawayn University.
