7 regions affected by new cases
Seven regions of Morocco, led by that of Casablanca-Settat, have new cases due to the coronavirus, this Tuesday, April 12.
MoroccoLatestNews’ monitoring and monitoring platform, www.moroccolatestnews.com, details that Morocco now has 1,164,135 confirmed cases, 16,061 deaths (i.e. a fatality rate of 1.4%), 1,147,355 recoveries, a total of 11,347,981 tests (an increase of 6,276).
Currently, there are therefore 719 cases being treated, including 20 in serious condition (0 under intubation).
As for the geographical distribution of new cases recorded in Morocco in the last 24 hours, it is the Casablanca-Settat region which comes first among the most affected regions, accounting for 39 new infections, including 34 in Casablanca, 3 in Nouaceur, and 2 in El Jadida.
Casablanca-Settat is followed by the regions of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (12 in Rabat, 5 in Salé and 1 in Skhirate-Témara) and Marrakech-Safi in Marrakech which record 18 new infections, each.
The Oriental region has a total of 4 new cases in Berkane (3) and Oujda-Angad (1), while that of Souss-Massa has 2 in Tadourannt, details the MoroccoLatestNews monitoring and monitoring platform, www.moroccolatestnews.com.
The last regions to count a single new case are those of Guelmim Oued-Noun and Fez-Meknes, respectively in Sidi Ifni and Taza.
