Dr. Said Attalla is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Canada Press Arab, contributing to the organization’s strategic, organizational and community-oriented development.
Based in Mississauga, Ontario, Dr. Attalla has a professional background in business and community leadership and is associated with the Canadian Arabic Community Centre. His professional profile also reflects experience as an owner in the pharmaceutical industry and education at Canada Christian College.
His academic and professional interests include community development and mental-health-related education, including training in Mental Health Coaching. His Canada Christian College studies included areas such as family counselling, addiction counselling, community mental health, marriage and remarriage counselling, personal counselling and developmental psychology.
As Co-Founder and Executive Director, Dr. Attalla contributes to the organization’s strategic development, community relations, organizational growth and long-term vision. His role complements the editorial and journalistic leadership of the Founder and Editor-in-Chief.
Together, the founders bring complementary areas of experience to Canada Press Arab: journalism and media leadership on one side, and executive, organizational and community leadership on the other.
