Canada Press Arab is an Arab-Canadian media organization dedicated to professional journalism, news, interviews, investigative reporting, digital media, and multimedia broadcasting for Arabic- and French-speaking audiences in Canada and internationally.
Our mission is to connect Canadian, Arab, and international perspectives through responsible journalism, professional communication, and digital media. We seek to provide our audiences with timely news, meaningful interviews, public-interest stories, and coverage of issues affecting communities in Canada and around the world.
Adam Said is the Founder, Director and Editor-in-Chief of Canada Press Arab and provides the organization’s overall editorial and journalistic direction.
He is an investigative journalist, reporter, interviewer, editor and proofreader, with experience in national and international news coverage and Arabic- and French-language broadcasting.
His media work is associated with Canada Arab Channel TV (CACTV), where news, interviews and multimedia programming are presented to Arabic- and French-speaking audiences.
As Founder, Director and Editor-in-Chief, Adam Said oversees the organization’s editorial vision, news coverage, reporting, interviews, editorial review, journalistic standards and development of its media platforms.
His vision is to develop Canada Press Arab as a professional Arab-Canadian media platform connecting Canada, the Arab world and the international community through journalism, communication and digital media.
Dr. Said Attalla is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Canada Press Arab, contributing to the organization’s strategic, organizational and community-oriented development.
Based in Mississauga, Ontario, Dr. Attalla has a professional background in business and community leadership and is associated with the Canadian Arabic Community Centre. His professional profile also reflects experience as an owner in the pharmaceutical industry and education at Canada Christian College.
His academic and professional interests include community development and mental-health-related education, including training in Mental Health Coaching. His Canada Christian College studies included areas such as family counselling, addiction counselling, community mental health, marriage and remarriage counselling, personal counselling and developmental psychology.
As Co-Founder and Executive Director, Dr. Attalla contributes to the organization’s strategic development, community relations, organizational growth and long-term vision. His role complements the editorial and journalistic leadership of the Founder and Editor-in-Chief.
Together, the founders bring complementary areas of experience to Canada Press Arab: journalism and media leadership on one side, and executive, organizational and community leadership on the other.
Noureddine Elbayar is a veteran Moroccan journalist and digital-media professional with experience in journalism, publishing, editorial work and digital communications.
At Canada Press Arab, he contributes to digital media development, website development, online news production, editorial support and multimedia content.
His combination of journalistic and digital-media experience supports the organization’s continued development across its online platforms.
