Video surfaces of Tyson punching man on flight
Video of boxing legend Mike Tyson allegedly punching a passenger on a plane has surfaced, with the clip seeming to show the former heavyweight champion landing several blows on a man.
Video obtained by TMZ appears to show a passenger annoying the former champion boxer.
The report stated the man, sitting behind Iron Mike, continually tried to engage Tyson on a JetBlue flight that was scheduled to fly out from Chicago on Wednesday night.
A witness told TMZ that Tyson, 55, told the man to leave him alone, but when he continued to badger the boxer, he started swinging when he refused to back off.
Video from on board the plane shows Tyson throwing punches at a man over his seat.
A second clip shows the man with blood on his head.
Tyson is said to have got off the plane moments later and is yet to comment.
Tyson has turned himself into an entrepreneur since his retirement from the sport and has gone on to make millions from several ventures including legal marijuana in the United States.
He recently said his renaissance was linked to his appearance in the movie ‘The Hangover’, leading to his own stage show then various business deals.
He’s even released his own marijuana infused gummy bears, in the shape of a bitten ear, using his ‘bite fight’ in his 1996 bout with Evander Holyfield as a marketing springboard.
Tyson was one of the best fighters of all time and won 50 of his 58 fights, reigning as undisputed heavyweight champion of the world from 1987 to 1990.
