Tips: Joey predicts ‘carve up’ in Latrell absence
League legend Andrew Johns is tipping the Rabbitohs and Dolphins fullbacks to “carve up” in Redcliffe on Thursday night.
It’s a game South Sydney has to win if it plans on making a finals appearance this season, while the Dolphins are stuck in the middle of a logjam inside the competition’s top eight.
The game is also a bizarre meeting of Wayne Bennett’s two NRL teams – the Dolphins he currently coaches, and the Bunnies he will take over later this year.

The contest will be missing Origin players Cameron Murray, Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Felise Kaufusi, as well as Latrell Mitchell following his foot injury last week.

But in their absence Johns is backing the two livewire No.1 guns to put on a show.
“I like the (Dolphins) fullback, Trai Fuller, up against Jye Gray,” Johns told Wide World of Sports’ Freddy and the Eighth’s tips.
“Any big boys get stuck in the mud around the ruck, watch these two carve them up.”
Fuller has emerged as a genuine entertainer this season, while Gray will be stepping into the boots of Mitchell as Bunnies fullback.
