TGR: Emissions under compensation at 10 billion dirhams in Q1-2022

The General Treasury of the Kingdom (TGR) published its monthly bulletin of public finance statistics (BMSFP) for March 2022. It appears that Issues for compensation expenditure were 10 billion dirhams (MMDH) at the end March 2022, up 164.9% compared to the same period of 2021.

The bulletin also notes that “equipment expenditure increased by 18.8% (17.8 billion dirhams against 15 billion dirhams) and expenditure on common charges increased by 97.5% (12.5 billion dirhams against 6.4 billion dirhams) due to the 164.9% increase in offset emissions”.

This bulletin also shows that the operating expenses issued were 70.6 billion dirhams, of which 36.6 billion dirhams concerned salaries and wages which recorded an increase of 1.8%.

The share of the general budget in tax refunds, relief and refunds increased by 49.3% due to the increase in refunds of value added tax (VAT) inside (3.47 billion dirhams).
