Ghent currently sits fifth in the Belgian league standings with 62 points, two points behind third-placed Anderlecht and 13 points behind overall leaders Union Saint-Gilloise.
Thanks to his XXL performances – he notably succeeded in part in qualifying Morocco for the 2022 World Cup – Tissoudali is on the shelves of a group of clubs seeking to benefit from his services from the next transfer market.
The principal concerned thus expressed himself on his future, confirming the interest of which he is the object. “There is interest everywhere”said the Moroccan. “At home and abroad. It is important to know what the Ghent project is. Will they build a great team or will they have to save? I want as much clarity as possible before making a decision. I think I can say in the meantime that I have become an important player for the club. I worked very hard for this, so I also want to feel the recognition that comes with being a key player. If La Gantoise finds something good, I am open to discussion. I’m waiting to see what the club will do“, concluded Tissoudali.
