During his hearing before the National Brigade of the Judicial Police, the famous plastic surgeon, who is in pre-trial detention, denies having photographed needy patients, in order to use them to earn money from benefactors.
According to MoroccoLatestNews sources, the doctor, during his confrontation, denied having knowledge of these said photos, questioning the version of the accused, “Zainab. b” who claims to have used this method in fundraising.
Despite confessing that he had met the accused once before, when her husband was recovering from his coronavirus infection, he nevertheless denied his relationship with her, neither near nor far.
On the other hand, he confirmed that his wife, who also takes care of the follow-up, takes care of the financial aspect in the part linked to the reception of the sums paid in cash, while his brother takes care of the administration and the patient records. Thus, he is the legal representative of the clinic.
After investigators presented a set of records from patients whose clinic was receiving financial assistance, Tazi tried to point out that patient records differ from case to case, and depending on the type of health coverage each has. patient.
The accused, owner of the Achifa clinic, indicated that the value of the key letter “B” varies from 1.3 dirham to 1.1 dirham specified in the context of health insurance.
The National Brigade of the Judicial Police presented patient files, after its study, which showed that there was a total overrun of the tariff, but the said doctor confirms that the sanatorium applies the tariff of the key letter “B” d an amount of 1.3 dirham for people who do not have health insurance or coverage with the consent of the patient.
Confronted with the fact that his wife, Mounia, declares that any administrative or financial decision must be approved by him, Tazi is surprised, indicating that he cannot find an explanation for his words.
As a reminder, five people linked to the clinic of the famous cosmetic surgeon, Hassan Tazi, were arrested in connection with a case of “human trafficking”, “fraud” and “falsification of documents”. The doctor’s wife is also implicated.
Amina F, head nurse, Abderrazak T, administrative manager in charge of interest recovery and brother of the plastic surgeon, Zainab B, intermediary, and Mounia B, wife of the doctor, financial manager of the clinic, accused of falsifying invoices , as well as the owner of the clinic, are implicated in this affair and are today under arrest.
