Student AMO Information Day

The Mohammed V University of Rabat (UM5) is organizing next Thursday, in collaboration with the National Office for University, Social and Cultural Works (ONOUSC) and the National Fund for Social Welfare Organizations (CNOPS), the 3rd edition of the day information and awareness-raising on the free Compulsory Health Insurance for Students (AMOE).

This day which will be organized for the benefit of students eligible for this program under the theme ” To UM5: Your health is our priority“, aims to create a space for exchange for a better understanding of this scheme, to present the AMOE system, to explain the procedures to follow to benefit from it, as well as to highlight the basket of care and the possible reimbursement rates, specifies the UM5 of Rabat in a press release.

It should be recalled that King Mohammed VI launched in April 2021, the implementation of the project for the generalization of social protection which includes several components.

This is the generalization of AMO (compulsory health insurance) for the benefit of 22 million additional people, at the end of 2022, who will benefit from insurance covering the costs of treatment, medication and hospitalization.

It is also a question of generalizing family allowances, between 2023 and 2024, for the benefit of families who do not benefit from them, the broadening of the base of members of pension schemes which will include around 5 million people, by 2025 , and who has a job without benefiting from a pension in addition to the generalization of the indemnity for job loss in 2025, for people with a stable job.
