Social dialogue: Signature of an agreement for the period 2022-2024

The head of government, Aziz Akhannouch, chaired, with the representatives of the CGEM, the Comader, the UGTM, the UMT and the CDT, the meeting of the Higher Committee for Social Dialogue, this Saturday, April 30, 2022, in Rabat.

This meeting was devoted to the conclusion of the cycle of social dialogue in this month of April. It was marked by the signing ceremony of the minutes of the agreement, which is the first of its kind, within the framework of the reform of our country and the implementation of the axes of the new development model initiated by the King Mohammed VI.

According to a press release from the government, the latter wanted to open a sincere, serious and realistic dialogue with the unions, as part of its firm desire to promote the rich Moroccan experience in the field of social dialogue. Aziz Akhannouch kicked off this tour during his meetings with the most representative trade union centers and the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises on February 24 and 25, 2022.

After a series of prolonged tripartite meetings at the level of the commissions emanating from the Supreme Committee of Social Dialogue, the collective will of the actors was to give a new dynamism to the dialogue, based on the strengthening of the social State and the strengthening of the competitiveness of the fabric national economy.
