Sarah Hyland and Adam DeVine reunite as they film Pitch Perfect TV show in Berlin
Sarah Hyland and Adam DeVine looked in high spirits as they began shooting for their new series in Berlin, Germany on Tuesday.
The duo, who played love interests on the hit ABC sitcom Modern Family, will now star together in the upcoming Peacock series Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin.
It will be a spin-off of the hit films which Adam, 38, starred in; with Sarah, 31, set to play his character Bumper Allen’s assistant Heidi.

The new series will see Adam as Bumper, who has moved to Berlin to pursue a career as a musician.
The pair were captured walking side by side, appearing to be in the middle of a scene as Sarah’s character looked to be frustrated with Bumper.
The former Disney star looked incredibly chic, strutting on set in cropped jeans and a green deco-print button up.

The short denims exposed a pair of bright red, patterned socks in brown leather Oxford shoes.
She wore a chunky waist belt, which complemented her deep emerald undershirt, finishing the look off with an oversized umber blazer.
Sarah carried a big caramel tote on her shoulder and coffee cup in hand as she listened to Adam’s enthusiastic dialogue.

She had her rich chestnut curls thrown into a voluminous ponytail.
Adam donned a striped pink, orange and baby blue shirt under a navy Lacoste bomber jacket.
His simple pair of jeans were styled with maroon sneakers.

The Workaholics actor shared news of the spin-off series on Instagram in September last year.
The three Pitch Perfect feature films included an A-list lineup that counted Rebel Wilson, Anna Kendrick, and Brittany Snow in the cast.
With a post broadcast to his 2.5 million followers, the actor said, ‘BUMPER is BACK! Oh my. I’m a song and dance man once again! So excited to [breathe] life back into my boy Bump. Such a lil manic and I loved playing him!’

The star thanked producers Elizabeth Banks and Max Handelman, Universal Television, and Peacock ‘for making this all possible’.
The announcement came nearly five years after the last film was released. The first one came out in 2012. According to Variety, the plot of the series takes place several years after the occurrences of the last film.
As Bumper, Adam originally played Rebel’s character Fat Amy’s love interest.
In the first comedy, the character began as the lead of a Barden University a cappella group, The Treblemakers, before stepping away to become a backup singer for John Mayer. The second film saw him return to the school to work as a security guard.

The Iowa-born entertainer will executive produce the series with Elizabeth, who appeared in the three films as a commentator for the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella competition and directed 2015’s Pitch Perfect 2.
A release date has yet to be announced.
