
Police tape off children’s play park in West Yorkshire after boy, 7, vanishes
Police have been guarding a cordon today (Thursday) at a park in Wakefield after an incident in which a seven-year-old boy went missing.
Police were contacted in Wakefield at about 7.08pm on Wednesday by the family of a 7-year-old boy who had gone missing from home.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police told media group YappApp: “Officers mounted an immediate search and the boy was located safe shortly afterwards in Horbury Park near Carr Lodge Lane.

“Officers are conducting further enquiries within the community today regarding the circumstances.”
It would appear that the cordon is actually in Carr Lodge Park. Police have been approached for further information.
