The Italian government is planning an increase in the number of places in reception centers provided by municipalities and an allowance of 300 euros for adults and 150 euros for minors, ANSA said, noting that an allowance of 30 euros per day will be paid to private individuals or to institutions which receive refugees.
More than 4.6 million Ukrainian refugees have fled their country since February 24, according to a new count established on Tuesday by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
