Maple Leafs’ Matthews out with injury Tuesday vs. Flyers
Toronto Maple Leafs star Auston Matthews will miss his second game in a row with an undisclosed injury when the team hosts the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday.

Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe confirmed at the Tuesday morning skate that Matthews would not play.
The forward is listed as day-to-day with a minor injury sustained in Saturday’s 5-4 overtime win over the Ottawa Senators.

Keefe said Matthews and defenceman Jake Muzzin, who has missed the past two games with an undisclosed injury, will join the Leafs for their coming road trip to Tampa, Florida and Washington.
