Will Luka Doncic play in Game 4 of 2022 NBA Playoffs vs. Jazz?

Doncic, who is listed as questionable on Saturday’s injury report, appears to be a game-time decision, with NBA Insider Marc Stein providing a positive update that suggests the superstar will return to the floor baring any setbacks.

Luka Dončić (calf) will be cleared to play in today in Utah after one last pre-game check, sources say, and with a likely minutes restriction after missing the first three games of the series.

Shortly after Doncic was ruled out for Game 3, Stein reported the plan was to bring the Slovenian superstar back from injury in Game 4. That plan is still in place.

What is Luka Doncic’s injury?

In the third quarter of the Mavericks’ April 10 game against the Spurs, Doncic drove down the middle of the floor and passed the ball out to Reggie Bullock. As Doncic jogged back to the perimeter, he reached down toward his left leg.

He eventually left the game, clearly limping as he walked to the locker room.

An MRI later confirmed that Doncic had suffered a left calf strain. Dallas has not yet offered a timetable for his return.
