The Moroccan Purchasing Community Association (AMCA) has announced the launch of the 1st edition of the Morocco Procurement Awards. The event should reward innovative projects and ideas from the Purchasing ecosystem.
The competition will reward innovative projects from the Purchasing ecosystem that have provided relevant solutions and contributed to improving the company’s competitiveness, and the Prizes will be awarded according to 5 categories to 5 innovative companies.
Organized in partnership with the International Transport and Logistics Exhibition for Africa and the Mediterranean (LOGISMED), the 1st edition of the Morocco Procurement Awards will reward 5 companies that have carried out an efficient or innovative Purchasing project over the past 24 months.
The jury, made up of professionals and personalities from the Purchasing community, will carefully examine and assess the quality and interest of the applications presented. It will elect the nominees in the 5 categories selected: Innovation, Supplier Relations, Digitization of Purchasing, Responsible Purchasing and Purchasing in SMEs.
Thus, the Innovation Trophy rewards an innovative, even avant-garde Purchasing project that proves to be promising and contributes to the development of the company, while the Supplier Relationship Management Trophy will be awarded to a project that promotes partnership relations. with suppliers through progress plans.
For its part, the Purchasing Function Digitization Trophy corresponds to a purchasing digitization project that improves the company’s competitiveness and performance, while the Responsible Purchasing Trophy is intended for a project that has developed the company’s performance. while integrating the social and environmental dimensions.
The SME Purchasing Trophy, meanwhile, will award a Purchasing project carried out by a company whose annual turnover is less than 75 million dirhams and whose technological, human, social, economic or environmental dimension will have particularly appealed to the jury.
