Khris Middleton injury update: Bucks star to miss remainder of series vs. Bulls with sprained MCL
Milwaukee Bucks wing Khris Middleton exited Wednesday night’s Game 2 against the Chicago Bulls with a knee injury.
Middleton went down at the 7:30 minute mark of the fourth quarter and left the game shortly after. The Bucks initially called it ‘left knee soreness’ announcing that he would not return for the remainder of the game.

What is Khris Middleton’s’ injury?
Middleton injured his knee midway through the fourth quarter of the Bucks’ 114-110 loss as he drove baseline on Bulls guard Alex Caruso and as he planted his left leg on the spin, it slid from underneath him.
He was slow to get up and left the game shortly after, with Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer confirming postgame that he had suffered a sprain in the medial collateral ligament (MCL) of his left knee.

Middleton exited the game with 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting, adding eight assists and five rebounds.
How long will Khris Middleton be out?
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Middleton is expected to miss the remainder of the first-round series against the Bulls.

Middleton underwent an MRI on his left knee on Thursday and the results showed an MCL sprain in his left knee. As Wojnarowski mentioned, Middleton will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

The series now shifts to Chicago for Games 3 and 4. With the Bucks holding homecourt advantage, Game 5 and if required, a Game 7 will be in Milwaukee.
