Is Terry McLaurin playing today vs. Eagles? Commanders WR has no targets in first half of TNF game
The Washington Commanders took a 7-3 lead into halftime on their Week 11 ‘Thursday Night Football’ game against the Philadelphia Eagles. It was a rather uneventful first half for both teams, and wide receiver Terry McLaurin was nowhere to be seen on the stat sheet.
McLaurin is normally the top receiver for rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. He sees a consistently high target share, leading a wide receiver room of himself, Noah Brown, Luke McCaffrey, and Olamide Zaccheaus.
However, the first half of the game didn’t feature McLaurin even getting a target from Daniels. This led many fans and fantasy owners to wonder if he was even playing.
Here’s the latest on McLaurin’s night in Philadelphia.

Is Terry McLaurin hurt?
Neither the broadcast of the game nor the beat writers covering the game have mentioned any sort of injury for McLaurin. Unless we get more information or breaking news, it appears that he is fully healthy and playing his usual complement of snaps.
Terry McLaurin stats vs. Eagles
Stats updated through the first half.
- 0 targets
- 0 receptions
The Eagles have a solid defense, but you would expect that Daniels would at least try to force it to McLaurin once in the first half. Last week against the Steelers, McLaurin had five receptions on six targets for 133 yards. He’s had at least three targets in every game he has played this season and at least six targets in eight of his 10 games. This is only the second time in his career he didn’t receive a first half target.
Terry McLaurin wasn’t targeted at all in the first half. Only the second time in his career that’s happened. First time was the 2021 opener against the Chargers, when @FitzMagic_14 got hurt early.
It’s the fifth time McLaurin hasn’t been targeted at all in any half.
