Eric Zemmour will present 550 candidates
The unsuccessful candidate of the Reconquest party! in the French presidential election, Eric Zemmour, intends to catch up during the legislative elections next June. He announced to present no less than 550 candidates.
The training thus indicated, in a press release, that “271 candidates and 279 candidates will wear the colors of Reconquest! everywhere” during the legislative elections of 12 and 19 June.
Co-signed by Nicolas Bay and Guillaume Peltier, the two vice-presidents who will co-lead the far-right party’s campaign, the text explains that 1,426 applications were received and “studied by the national investiture commission”.
Of the 550 candidates selected, “176 are from the Republicans, 159 from the National Rally [et] 215 of civil society”, specified Reconquête!, calling for the “general mobilization of all the voters of the rights and patriots who refuse to entrust full powers to Emmanuel Macron and Jean-Luc Mélenchon”.
In addition, the training deplores not having received a response to Eric Zemmour’s proposal to present a coalition of rights in the legislative elections. “Alas, neither the RN nor the LRs responded favorably to this outstretched hand and to our desire to unite for the love of France”, it is underlined.
Reconquest! further reiterates its commitment not to present a “candidate for the legislative elections against Eric Ciotti (LR), Nicolas Dupont-Aignan (DLF) and Marine Le Pen (RN)”.
