Devin Booker injury update: Suns star leaves Game 2 vs. Pelicans with hamstring injury
After a spectacular start to Tuesday night’s Game 2, Suns star Devin Booker was forced to sit out the fourth quarter because of a hamstring injury.
Booker walked back to the locker room during the third quarter of the first-round contest between the Suns and Pelicans. During his in-game interview with TNT’s Allie LaForce, Phoenix coach Monty Williams said that Booker “may have a hamstring injury, but the Suns would “know more after the game.”

Phoenix later announced Booker was dealing with “right hamstring tightness” and would sit out the remainder of Game 2.
Booker scored 31 points on 12-of-19 shooting in 25 minutes before suffering the injury. He averaged 26.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 68 regular season games, earning the third All-Star selection of his career.
