Baitas: PCR test or pass-vaccination for sea travel

Government spokesman Mustapha Baitas said travelers by sea can take a PCR test or present the vaccine pass.

Speaking at a press briefing at the end of the Council of Government, held on Thursday, Baitas affirmed that the government does not hesitate to relax preventive anti-covid measures when “the necessary conditions are met”.

Indeed, he said, the Executive interacts with the anti-covid restrictions according to the evolution of the national and international epidemiological situation, and the relaxation of these measures remains necessary to boost economic recovery and guarantee freedom of movement of citizens.

It should be noted that as part of the restoration of maritime links between Morocco and Spain, shipping companies had resumed their passenger services on Tuesday between the Moroccan ports of Tangier Med and Tangier city and the Spanish ports of Algeciras and Tarifa.
