Here are all the dates and venues for all of golf’s majors in 2022, along with the details for other significant events in the golfing calendar over the next 12 months….
The first two majors of the year have already been contested – and both been won by American players.
Jennifer Kupcho triumphed at the LPGA Tour’s Chevron Championship in California, beating compatriot Jessica Korda by two strokes to land her maiden major championship.
Then, a week later, men’s World No 1 Scottie Scheffler proved Augusta National’s No 1, picking up his first major crown as he finished three shots clear of Rory McIlroy to win The Masters and claim the Green Jacket.
The victory was Scheffler’s fourth title in two months, with the in-form player on the PGA Tour now looking to make it back-to-back major wins at May’s PGA Championship at Southern Hills in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
